  15. IMPORTANT NOTICE:
  16. IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED THE MACAPP BROWSER 1.4 SINCE OCTOBER 3, 1989:

  18. Lee Scott & Associates, the disk duplicator/order fulfillment house we use for
  19. our MacApp Developers Association products, made an error in duplicating the
  20. last batch of MacApp Browser 1.4 disks.  Many of these disks were inadvertantly
  21. copied with MicroSoft Mail 2.0, rather than MacApp Browser 1.4.  We have
  22. stopped shipping these units as of this date, and have notified APDA to do so
  23. as well.  LS&A is replacing the bad units and both APDA and MADA should resume
  24. shipping this product by November 23, 1989.

  26. If you have purchased a Browser 1.4 since October 3, 1989, and find MicroSoft
  27. Mail 2.0 on the packaged disk, please link us at MADA, or call COLLECT (206)
  28. 252-6946.  Give us the serial number from the disk and we will send you a
  29. replacement disk at no cost.

  31. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.  We have had a
  32. good working relationship with LS&A, the second largest duplicator/fulfillment
  33. house in the state Washington, and this is the first time an error has occurred
  34. (though they readily admit--and we agree--that there is no excuse for this lack
  35. of basic quality control).  LS&A will reimburse MADA for all costs involved in
  36. replacing stock.
